From Selection to Disposal: Mastering PPE Programs
This session is designed for safety professionals looking to strengthen and modernize their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) programs. Moving beyond basic compliance, this training focuses on building sustainable, defensible systems that ensure PPE remains effective, properly selected, and consistently used across operations. Participants will explore practical frameworks for managing the full PPE lifecycle, including hazard-based selection, documentation, and integration into existing safety management systems. The session will highlight strategies for conducting routine cross-checks and audits to verify proper use, condition, and availability of PPE in the field. Attendees will also learn how to establish clear triggers and decision-making processes for updating or upgrading PPE based on regulatory changes, incident trends, new technologies, and workplace modifications.
