Reasonable suspicion training is not about punishing employees; it is about identifying a hazard and taking steps to address it to protect the health and well-being of others. Effective reasonable suspicion training goes beyond the basics required to empower supervisors to take proactive actions to protect the health of their business.
This program will help you recognize signs and symptoms of drug, alcohol and cannabis use among employees. Tips for handling different scenarios, the definition of safety sensitive and recommendations for implementing strong policies will be reviewed.
The training will cover the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. General confrontational techniques for when drug/alcohol use is suspected will be discussed.
